Akosua joined AIRnyc in May 2023, bringing extensive experience working in the healthcare space. Prior to joining our team, Akosua worked for NYC Health + Hospitals where she held administrative positions at Bellevue and Metropolitan Hospital Centers, as well as Central Office. Akosua values the opportunity to work behind the scenes to ensure that patients receive proper medical treatment and are made aware of community resources that are available to them. As AIRnyc’s Operations Coordinator, Akosua enjoys motivating team members to provide the proper tools necessary to keep operations running smoothly. She enjoys being part of an organization that champions productivity and efficiency. Working collectively to help patients achieve their best health and lifestyle outcomes is especially rewarding to Akosua. Her outstanding commitment to community includes providing meals and school supplies to children in underserved communities, and helping to revitalize a community in Newark, New Jersey. Akosua holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Dance from Alabama State University.
