Partnering with AIRnyc
We're flexible.
At AIRnyc we understand that the path to health and wellness is not linear and never a one-size fits all job. When partnering, we work to understand the community and the organization we are entering into and how best to use our team of experts to serve our partner's populations. Moving at the pace of our partners and patients, we work to provide the best path forward each and every time.
Expert led.
We have a 20-year history of working within communities to bring healthcare and resources to the city's most vulnerable. Begun as an evidence-based, participatory research project among Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health, The Harlem Hospital Center, and Harlem Children’s Zone, AIRnyc's approaches to care and assistance have always been evidence-based and agile. Adjusting with the times and incredibly connected, AIRnyc's leadership and team are part of both the healthcare and social care community. These connections allow for well-rounded and expert advice to produce tangible results for our patients.
AIRnyc and our team of Community Health Workers are of the community and by the community. We are intrinsically connected to the city and feel it is an obligation to serve our communities, no matter who might step through our doors. Our team knows the languages, cultures, and communities of the families we serve. Our emphasis on professional development makes good on our commitment to not only providing our patients with the best care, but also giving our team the skills and training to advance their careers. They are committed, with most staying with us for five, ten, even fifteen years.
Community-centered.
“This is the most successful program we have been involved in…patients got value and were appreciated.”
